I took mom walking at the mall again today. I think this walking thing is going to be devastating to my diet. I couldn't resist the mocha chocalata thing from Cinnabon today. It was there, looking nice and cold. I also almost bought a cinnamon roll. It took everything in my will power to resist and if i go back tomorrow I am going to get one. The rolls on my stomach are going to look like they were baked by Mrs. Bairds.
The kids are driving me to the edge of insanity. All day long Jeneane whined and complained about having to stay home. I know, it just must be so tragic to spend a day at home. Afif knows exactly what drives her nuts and he just eats at her till she is screaming at the top of her lungs. It is so bad Osameh finally decided it would be wise to leave town. So bad in fact that he is heading to Waco tonight. He is even already planning his trip to Memphis for next week. I think the bottom line is that I need a job so I can leave home too. This unemployed, stay at home mom gig is coming to an end. The grey hair in my head is multiplying and now that I am not formally employed (the government doesn't count homemaker as a position), I can't really afford to get my hair colored as often.
Tomorrow I have a friend coming over and I am heading to IKEA with mom. I figure since I hate their food it would be a good place to take her to walk. You like my strategy??
I finally put a counter on my site to see if anyone is reading my blog. I am getting a few hits a day. It is so much fun to write but if I am going to try to make a small living from this I need more exposure. So here it is...please spread the word and pass the link to this site to anyone you know....your buddies at work...your friends, if you have any, and your family. I almost forgot.. I would also love comments. It would make me feel important.
