Interview

I have to first say that I really wanted to post on the first day of school (Monday) to celebrate my freedom but I was busy actually celebrating...so here is the next best thing.
The kids went back to school Monday and it felt great to get some things done. Afif came home in tears because apparently his teacher didn't teach him to read as promised and then she had the gaul to put him in the book area for activity time. He was so angry because it took her, and I quote, "1000 million minutes to take him to lunch." God forbid he misses a meal and loses a pound. He complained about not having nap time, not that he ever takes one. It was so funny. He was angry, his arms were trying to express his frustration, his tears were falling, then when I told him I would speak to his teacher he went quiet. Then he said in a voice I could hardly hear, "OK, I guess it's time to tell the truth." Apparently all that was a figment of his imagination. I am raising a maniac.
Jeneane had a great time. She has 5 male teachers. What's up with that??? I'm not sexist but I only had two my entire 12 years in school. Apparently that's the "in" profession.
I had an interview today and it was funny how nervous I was. I'm usually real laid back but I was really excited about this job. I hope it works out. I will fill you all in next week if I hear anything.
